Today was a really chill day of just enjoying the beautiful climate and nature of Annecy. To celebrate Paul's graduation from sailing school and Benoit's 40th birthday, the Loichot family went for a ride over the lake in a hot air balloon. (I didn't go because I'm so hot that if I went the balloon would never come down.)
Instead, I worked for a while in the garden, then cooked some Italian food for the kids. Then I went for a swim in the lake, and then went to the park to study while I had a picnic. I had mate with a tuna quiche, and a really good French dessert that I don't remember what it's called. It's like a little square coconut cake covered in chocolate. Really good.
Annecy is beautiful, and I'm really enjoying every single day of my time here.
