Looks like I'm going to be living here in Annecy for a while!
Yesterday Flor suggested I go visit the family of some kids that she used to babysit when she lived here last year. I went over and introduced myself, and they invited me to stay for dinner. They are a very fun couple with two kids, one 10 years old and the other 13 years old. We had a great French dinner together, and I explained my situation to them. They offered me free room and board in exchange for helping their kids with homework, picking them up from school, helping in the garden, and other little things like that! Starting in September I'm going to be living with them! I'm very excited, because they're an awesome family and I'm going to love staying with them. Plus I know that staying with them will help my French out so much. In French I've already passed my level of Russian, and I understand a lot more than I can speak.
Then today I went to church and got to know my new branch. It's a small branch of 40 people and just about all of them are old people. It's exactly like most of the branches that I served in on my mission. But I told the sister missionaries that I want to go out with them to teach lessons as often as I possibly can, and they were grateful for the offer. It's HARD being on a mission in Europe in the summer time; trust me, I know.
That's it! Now I'm off to try to locate the library.
You are gonna come back speaking AWESOME FRENCH!!!!!! =) So excited!!!! =)
