As many of you know, today I had my final interview with JetBlue Airlines. I feel like I did really well, and I'm really excited to find out if they approved me for the job. The benefits of working for JetBlue are AWESOME! If I get this job I'm going to be traveling almost every weekend, for free!
And another great piece of news is that I got a call from my boss of my translation job for the Idaho Department of Health and Safety, and he told me that he really likes my work and dependability, so he decided to turn over 100% of the translations to me! I'm now the official translator for the I.D.H.S. for the Southeastern Idaho region! Now every week all the social workers will send their evaluation reports directly to me to be translated. I'm really excited, because I've always liked translation but now it's becoming an actual job instead of just a supplement to my income!
Also, Hunter and I went to a professional recording studio this week to record the first two tracks of an Ancient Rome-themed symphonic power metal album that we've been writing together. It sounds really good! I'm excited to move forward with this project and see if we can get some more songs done soon.
