Anna, my landlord, is an awesome person. She's a very honest and sincere person, and has no tolerance for corruption or dishonesty. She came with me to church last sunday, and she really liked it. Yesterday we had a lesson with her with the sister missionaries. She also invited one of her friends, Minno, to sit in on the lesson. It was a great lesson, and we felt the Spirit very strongly during it. Afterwards, Anna and I had a great discussion about temples and other parts of the church until midnight. I'm really excited for her! I hope she keeps coming to church with me! I know that she can find the answers to the questions she has inside her.
Then, today, I went to the beach with a group of kids I met doing the falcon census. They're all part of this group of hippies that do hippie things like falcon censuses and recycling and stuff like that. Anyways, today we all went to the beach together and spent the whole day there. I'm SO BURNT but I had so much fun! We layed in the sun, swam in the water, ate ice cream, and had a lot of fun. We gathered up a ton of driftwood from the beach and used it to build a little house. Then we walked around the historic district of a town called Giovinazzo, which is beautiful. Some of the alleyways were literally so narrow that we had to go single file, because two people wouldn't fit. The streets are like a labyrinth, and all of the doorways and windows are sculpted in baroque style. It's a beautiful town. Go check it out on google.
